This classic Broadway musical features
music and lyrics by Cole Porter and plenty of tap dancing, all provided by a cast of TMC
regulars as well as several new faces. This
comical story set in the 1930s features the complications that ensue when gangsters,
entertainers, working Americans and the elite of British society fall into a series of
mix-ups and misunderstandings aboard a ship bound for England, much in the name of love!
The experienced and accomplished cast of actors, tappers and singers promises to make
audiences of all ages laugh out loud and tap along with the dancers.
Leading the way are the familiar faces
of Jonathan Nuckols, 16, of Annapolis, in his
first lead in the company; Kerry Dietrick, 17, Severna
Park; long-time TMC performers Amy Sonntag, 18, Andrew Sonntag, 16, and Karley Willocks,
15, all from Crofton; Darren Biggart, 15, Crownsville; and Rachel Scott, 14, Severna Park. One new face rounds off the lead characters: Sean
McCarron, 18, Davidsonville.
New to TMC is the choreographer for Annie
, who will also direct and choreograph Anything Goes.
His name is, coincidentally, Bobby Smith, a performer and choreographer in
the area for 25 years. The music director for
both shows is Nicole Roblyer, a former TMCer and successful performer.
