Our Founder -- BOBBI SMITH
Bobbi Smith was the founder of the nationally acclaimed Talent Machine
Company. Bobbi was a teacher, performer, choreographer, and
producer. She was known as the "Teacher of the Stars", with her students
performing on TV, in movies, on Broadway, at the White House, in
nationally known "Tap Dogs", and more!
Bobbi Smith was a Master Teacher and Adjudicator for Dance Masters of
America, Towson State University, MD Council of Dance, Prochotsky and
Baltimore Ballet Companies, Goucher College, Essex and Anne Arundel
Community Colleges. A classically trained dancer, the last fifteen years
found her directing and choreographing musicals from "Evita" to "Grease."
Bobbi was on staff at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. In 1997, she
received the Governor's Award for Community Service in the Arts, and was
presented the Human Relations Award from Frontiers International.
