Where do I park?

Parking is available on the street and in the garage across from Buddy's.  The Annapolis parking police are vigilant, so please be aware that the meters go into effect at 10:00 a.m.  In prior years, the Annapolis merchants arranged for free street parking during December, so check to see if that is offered this year.

Is the price the same for all ages?

Yes. Everyone is charged the same price, no matter what age.  This includes infants, babies, children, teens, adults, and grandparents.
Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more, when all seats are paid at the same time.

My little one is too young to eat food.  Does he have to pay the same price?

Yes, all attendees, including infants, pay the same price.

 Does the price cover everything?

The price includes the buffet and the show.  If we have soda available, there is an additional charge of $1.50 which is paid to your server.  Remember that unlimited amounts of juice, milk, coffee, and hot tea are included in the show price.

If you or your guest cannot attend the breakfast or cannot stay to see the show, the price is not discounted.

Am I expected to tip the server?

The servers are also the cast members performing for you at the show, and tips are graciously accepted.  If you choose to tip, the entire amount of the tip goes to the performer serving you.

What is served at the buffet?

The buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, home fries, cereal, fruit, danishes, among other foods.  Drinks provided include juice, coffee, milk and hot tea.

 What is the Show about?

The Show features Talent Machine Company kids performing seasonal numbers.  The Show has singing, dancing, and lots of action.  The cast ages range from 6 - 18, and their performances represent years of voice, dance, and acting training as well as stage performing experience.  There is an intermission where the TMC kids and characters dance with the audience (in other words audience participation).  You can have your child's picture taken with Santa or Mr. and Mrs. Bunny - you provide your own camera of course.  For the VIB shows we have easter bonnet contests!!  Winners are picked for silliest, prettiest, most original and audience choice!

May I take pictures or videotape the show and or/characters with my child?

Videotaping and photographing of the performance itself is strictly prohibited.  However, feel free to videotape during audience participation time, and take pictures of any of the characters with people in your group.

How do I get the best seats?

All seating is reserved and assigned by our director, based upon when we receive your payment by check.  Therefore, the earlier your payment is received, the better your seating.  The Shows are expected to sell out, and usually are completely booked a month before the Show is scheduled, so please do not delay making your reservation and sending your check.

Please be aware that you may be seated at the same table with other patrons.

Will it help for me to arrive early?

No, the doors open at 8:30 a.m., and no one is allowed to enter prior to that time.  Remember your seats are reserved.

What time does the show start?

The show starts about 9:15 a.m.  People are seated quickly after the doors open.  Arrive in time to visit the buffet prior to the show because there are limited items available after the show begins.  Please be aware that seating is family style, so that you may be sharing a table with other patrons.

How long does the Breakfast Show last?

Usually it is over by 10:15 a.m.  As soon as the show is over, you will see Talent Machine volunteers clearing tables and putting away the sound system, so that Buddy's can open for regular business.

What if I want to add someone to my reservation later?

The ability to add later is extremely limited.

What if I can't use the seat I paid for?

There are no refunds.  The payment will be considered a donation.  The Talent Machine Company is a nonprofit corporation.

Doesn't Talent Machine have a December Holiday Show at St. John's College?  Would that be better for my children?

Talent Machine Company will present its  annual Holiday Show during the Holiday Season. The show at St. John's Key Auditorium is a stage presentation that lasts about two hours, including intermission.  Some very young children may have trouble focusing attention and staying in one seat in an auditorium, but most enjoy the fast-paced, energetic stage show.

The Breakfast Parties are geared toward a young audience.  Often grandparents enjoy attending the Breakfast Show with their children and grandchildren.  The informal atmosphere also lends itself to friends and neighbors attending together.

Many people choose to attend both the stage performance at St. John's and the smaller restaurant setting of the Breakfast show at Buddy's Crabs and Ribs.  Some choose to celebrate birthdays at either Show.

If you are interested in information about obtaining tickets to Talent Machine's Holiday Show at St. John's auditorium, please visit that section on this website.

How may I talk to someone about my reservation?

Call Talent Machine Central, 410-956-0512 and press 4 for the Breakfast Show line.  Please leave your name and phone number, and a Talent Machine representative will return your call.
